หากใครเคย update Windows 10 จะพบว่ามัน update ได้ช้าเหลือเกิน อีกทั้งบางครั้งเราจะเจอปัญหาการอัพเดตแล้วค้างอยู่ที่ “Preparing for install update” อีกด้วย

โดยวิธีการแก้ไขสามารถทำได้ตามขั้นตอนดังนี้

1. กดปุ่ม Start -> Control Panel

2. ไปที่ Troubleshooting

3. ภายใต้ส่วน System, เลือก Fix problems with Windows Updates

4. จากนั้น restart เครื่อง

5. ทดสอบ update อีกครั้ง

หากปัญหายังคงอยู่ให้ทำตามขั้นตอนต่อไปนี้

1. เปิด cmd.exe ขึ้นมาโดย “Run as Administrator”

2. ปิด service BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer, Windows Update Services

  • net stop wuauserv
  • net stop cryptSvc
  • net stop bits
  • net stop msiserver

3. เปลี่ยนชื่อ folder SoftwareDistribution และ Catroot2 ไปเป็น SoftwareDistribution.old และ Catroot2.old

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

4. Restart เครื่อง

5. ทดสอบ Update Windows อีกครั้งหนึ่ง
